One piece porcelain (earthenware?) doll with glazed enamel finish is posed amusingly as though jumping, sculpted to resemble wooden Grodnertal dolls with egg-shaped head, painted black hair with shaded detail around the face, painted blue eyes, thin line mouth, ochre-shaded cheek blush, painted black shoes. Condition: lower arms restored, otherwise excellent. Comments: age and maker unknown, the doll was acquired by Madame Petyt from the Kendall Collection auction. Value Points: rare and curious doll with special charm.
