12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape that matches the large round eye sockets, brown glass side-glancing googly eyes, thick black eyeliner, painted upper lashes, short side-stroked brows with ochre shading, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with impish smile, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, antique dress, cap, undergarments, stockings and shoes. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake on left upper eye rim. Marks: B made in Germany JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: appealing size of the googly-eyed imp, original body finish, excellent quality of bisque and painting.
