Description
The ensemble comprises an aqua silk dropped waist dress with lace and ribbon trim, ivory coat with aqua silk and braid edging and wide capelet collar above box-pleated back, matching cap with bavolet, white cotton dress with cutwork scalloped edging, four undergarments including laced bebe stays, white night shirt, two white cotton caps, straw bonnet with blue ribbon band labeled "Vichy" in gold letters, best straw bonnet with silk ribbons, tiny all-bisque doll in lithographed box, and beaded jewelry in lithographed box. Excellent condition except coat which has fabric wear. Circa 1880.
