Two 19th Century Paper Mache Dolls

13" (33 cm.) full doll. 10"h. doll head. Each is paper mache shoulder head with blonde sculpted curly hair and painted facial features, blue eyes, the smaller with original muslin stitch-jointed body with sewn-on red striped stockings and red leather boots. Condition: generally excellent, small nose rub on smaller. Marks: (Holz-masse symbol on smaller doll) 2015 St. P & Co Superior (paper label on larger doll). Comments: circa 1860. Value Points: well-preserved paper mache dolls with interesting size comparison.
