Description
8" (20 cm.) wax baby. Comprising a wax baby with blue glass eyes, painted lashes, closed mouth, presented in her original cardboard presentation as taufling baby with fancy lace and silk edging, wax arms protruding in classic baby pose; the top separates for access to the candy container interior, and has original candy store label "A la Belle Marraine" in Paris; along with two firm-sided candy sacks with unusual curved shapes, blue silk sacks, one with unusual raised designs of children, the other with lithographs based on the illustrations of French artist Luigi Loir. Excellent condition of the deluxe candy boxes.
