Description
8" (20 cm.) h. mantel and clock. Of soft pinewood with elaborate gilded paper cutwork edging and colorful floral appliques, having embossed upholstery in rose sateen, the set comprising fire place with attached gilded pot metal mantel clock having figural design, fernery with mirror edged in rose velvet, pianoforte with paper keys and matching piano stool, library table, two arm chairs, four side chairs and settee. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Louis Badeuille, or his successor Adelaide Prive, circa 1870. Value Points: beautifully designed and decorated furniture is well preserved.
