Description
Of horizontally banded white pique, the gown features low-rounded neckline, fitted bodice, set-in waist, flared skirt with back gathers, short sleeves. There is a self-belt with wide bow at the back. The gown is decorated with brown pique wide scalloped collar, cuffs, and band at the hemline that is overlaid with braid, cutwork, scalloped cotton edging and buttons. 4" shoulder width. 12" overall length. To fit poupee about 16"-17". Excellent condition. Circa 1865.
