12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown sculpted hair in short curly bob with blue hair band tied with bow at the side of head, intaglio painted blue side-glancing eyes, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, row of tiny beaded teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7763 Heubach (square) Germany (head). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910, the model known as "Coquette". Value Points: most endearing smile on the well-modeled child with laughter eye crinkles and cheek dimples.
