Description
14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink tinted bisque, blonde sculpted boyish hair, intaglio blue eyes, white eye dots, red upper eyeliner, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast expression, accent line between the lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: unusually fine modeling especially around the deeply-set eye sockets, fine quality of bisque, toddler body, antique dress and bonnet, undergarments, shoes, socks.
