14" (36 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with sculpted short brown hair in bobbed fashion, waved away from forehead and clasped by a sculpted pink hair bow, painted brown intaglio eyes, white eyedots, closed mouth with smiling expression and row of painted teeth, all- wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, small rub on right cheek. Marks: Schoenhut Doll pat. Jan 17, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1915. Value Points: rarity factors of the charming girl include carved hair, smiling expression with teeth, petite size, and having original knit Schoenhut teddy and shoes.
