10" x 7". A beautiful box with decorative paper covers centering the word "Mercerie" hinges open to reveal various sewing materials, tools, and supplies including silk fabrics, gold buttons, little boxes with pins, buttons and such, and stenciled designs. Very good condition. French, circa 1880.
