19" (48 cm.) Wooden domed trunk with canvas cover has metal and wooden trim on the exterior, cast iron handles, and a very lavish interior, linen lined with purple decorations, comprising one lift-out tray and four additional drawers for presentation of a deluxe trousseau. Excellent condition, some typical exterior spotting, interior very clear and fresh. French, circa 1875.
