Description
22" (56 cm.) X 17" box. A wooden box with decorative paper covers and gilt lettering "Service de Table" hinges open to red lined interior containing its original doll-sized faience dinner service for six with extensive serving dishes, plates, and accessories, along with four colored glass dishes, three-piece cutlery sets for six (one missing knife),six menu cards, and six napkins. The elements are still tied to the box with original red silk ribbons, and the box lid contains the silver label of the prestige Parisian doll store "Au Bonheur des Enfants" which where it was sold. Excellent condition. Circa 1890.
