All felt doll with swivel head, very chubby face with full cheeks, pressed and painted facial features, narrow brown side-glancing eyes, black upper eye liner, brown painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with full pouty lips, blushed cheeks, blonde mohair wig, jointed shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, circa 1930, the doll appeared in the 1930 catalog, listed as model 1500/D. Value Points: rare facial model with wonderfully preserved complexion, wearing fine original costume of organdy gown with applique felt flowers, organdy pantalets, green felt jacket and bonnet with scalloped tiered trim, green felt slippers.
