Description
23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, slightly modeled brush-stroked and feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with pull-string "mama" crier. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dep 10. Comments: SFBJ/Jumeau, circa 1900. Value Points: in unplayed with condition, the beautiful doll, with luminous patina of bisque, wears original undergarments, lavish bonnet, aqua knit stockings and silk shoes signed "Paris Depose 10" and has original labeled box; her original dress is also included, albeit very frail.
