16" (41 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, short blonde sculpted hair with modeled forelock and side curls above the sculpted ears, blue intaglio eyes with prominent black pupils and white eye dots, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with tiny defined tongue tip, shaded and accented lips, dimpled cheeks and lip corners, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 7622 Heubach (sunburst) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: very pronounced cheek dimples lends an impish look to the otherwise solemn character, choice bisque and painting, wonderful sailor costume.
