19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, brown eye shadow, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, brunette mohair wig in coiled braids, jointed shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci Toscana (label on wrist) Lenci (paper label on skirt and box with pencil inscriptions BH 12). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935, the doll wears a folklore costume of Tuscany with brilliant embroidered vest, felt appliques on skirt, carrying felt rooster. Value Points: perfectly preserved model, in its original labeled box.
