14" (36 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, dark painted eye liner, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, ears pierced into head, lambswool wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, body very sturdy, costume a bit frail. Marks: A (head) A Depose Bru Jne (shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, a very early signed Bru poupee wearing its original tacked-on silk and lace costume, leather slippers.
