Bisque swivel head, brown glass paperweight insets eyes, lushly painted lashes, widely arched brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully- jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 1 (head, and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: most endearing tiny size enhances the dramatic large eyes and lovely painted features, original signed body, wearing antique embroidered original dress, undergarments, socks, leather shoes, and superb early straw bonnet with silk lining and flowers.
