15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted brown boyish hair, painted facial features, grey eyes with large black pupils and white eye dots, red and black upper eye liner, closed mouth with defined space between the accented lips, row of painted teeth, impressed dimples, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume including black velvet trousers and vest, grey coat, leather shoes. Condition; generally excellent. Marks: R.A. (crossed swords). Comments: Recknagel, circa 1915. Value Points: well detailed sculpting including deeply impressed laughter lines at eyes and mouth.
