Description
15" (38 cm.) All felt doll with swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, large pale blue eyes, grey painted eye shadow, painted lashes, closed mouth with accented lips, blonde mohair cropped wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and paper labels, with penciled number 30). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935. Value Points: wearing original Scottish costume of vividly colored felt and wool, the young Scottish boy is perfectly preserved in his original gift box from the Chicago prestige department store of Marshall Fields.
