Bisque socket head with solid dome, blonde sculpted hair in classic Kewpie style with high topknot ,forelock curl with decorative glaze, side curls above blushed ears, large round brown glass side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, "dash" brows, button-shaped nose, closed mouth with impish smile, composition toddler like body with chubby torso, jointing at shoulders, hips and knees, short toddler legs, starfish-shaped fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Ges gesch O'Neill JDK 11 ( head) O'Neill (ink script on foot). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, designed by Rose O'Neill and produced under license by Kestner for one or two years only. Value Points: delightful and rare Kewpie with original signed body, superb bisque and painting.
