11" (28 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with unusual painted brown skullcap, painted facial features, muslin torso, arms and upper legs, paper mache lower legs with painted lavender stockings and green shoes, wearing original folklore costume with embroidered breast plate. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: unusual costume and painted cap are well preserved.
