13" (33 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head, painted facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth, black painted pate below original brunette hair wig, pink kid poupee body with shapely torso. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1850. Value Points: in pristine condition, the doll wears her original Brittany costume richly decorated with silver metallic, paillettes, velvet ribbons, and wide lace collar and fancy coiffe; she has undergrments, leather slippers and very fine gold-plated cross and brooch.
