Description
7" (18 cm.) l., 6"h. The all-bisque figural features a bisque "wicker" basket with sculpted open lid, in which are hiding four bisque babies, with variations of sculpted hats, curly hair, facial expressions, achieving an overall very "alive" and vibrant playful scene. The basket is actually a box with removable lid, and is decorated with lock and key motif. Excellent condition, 1" hairline at back left lid. Impressed Heubach sunburst mark. Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910, a superb and rare figural group.
