19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of young child, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark eye liner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair bobbed wig, muslin torso, composition limbs, wearing antique romper suit and sailor cap. Condition: Generally excellent, composition limbs repainted. Marks: copr by Grace C. Rockwell, Germany 1392/40. Comments: circa 1925, made in Germany. Value Points: rare doll with wonderful character expression designed by the famous American illustrator of the early 20th century.
