Description
3" (8 cm.) A metal spinning top serves as the cone-shaped form for the skirt of the little bisque doll that sits atop, the doll with black sculpted hair held by a blue snood decorated with pink feathers, and having painted facial features, bisque arms. The top is signed "Brevete SGDG" on base. Excellent condition, left hand broken. French, circa 1870, a rare and charming toy utilizing fancy bisque doll head.
