Description
The dropped waist dress features a crisp geranium red silk taffeta lining under cream crocheted lace, having two gathered scalloped edge ruffles at the hem, a wide ruffled collar, and short sleeves with scalloped edging. A matching silk hip sash forms into a very large bow at the back, and there are two matching bows at the shoulders. The matching bonnet has full gathered silk back framed by a 3" woven straw brim trimmed in gathered silk with a lace flounce at the crown. An ivory silk bow at the bonnet nape forms into two long streamers. The bonnet is labeled "Modes, Mlle Gourghon-Fallet, Brassac-Les-Mines". To fit doll about 27"-29". 8" shoulder width. 18" overall length. 5" inside width of bonnet.
