Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly-parted lips, tiny porcelain teeth, mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted blue stockings, black ankle boots, antique schoolgirl costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest pinflake at left forefinger tip, small flakes at left leg string hole and rim. Marks: 2 1/2 (head and limbs). Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: pretty all-bisque girl with unusual painting of stockings.
