Of fine white cotton, the dress features a double set of cut-work bretelles flanking three bands of elaborate embroidered cut-work, fitted waist, long sleeves with stitched tucking the full length and wide cut-work bands at the wrists, gathered skirt with alternating band of tucks, inset cut- work, overlay scalloped edge cut-work, and inset ribbons. There is a wide collar at the back, and both the neck and waist are adjustable with draw-string closure. Along with elaborate braided white straw bonnet with ruffled shape, decorated with silk daisies on the exterior, and lined with (frail) aqua silk chiffon.
