Description
24" (61 cm.) l. theatre. A wooden theater whose stage platform serves as storage unit for various pieces when not in play is painted original pale yellow with red stenciled borders and colorful floral decorations; a canvas hand-painted curtain disguises the stage. Included are 14 earthenware or composition puppets with expressive character faces, sculpted hair and features, original costumes, with original wooden hand grips. Excellent condition. Circa 1890.
