Description
7" (18 cm.) l. 9"h. Seated upon a metal platform with spoked iron wheels is a bisque-headed boy with blonde sculpted hair and painted facial features. He holds two metal batons in hands and is seated behind a brass gong. When the toy is pulled along, the boy moves his arms up and down and taps the bell. Toy and mechanism excellent and well functioning, metal platform repainted, bisque shoulder plate (under costume) has a reglued piece. Circa 1880, a delightful and imaginative toy.
