Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8 (head, and untinted white space). Comments: Jumeau, circa 1892, the model was commissioned by Paris department store, likely Au Samaritaine, whose paper label would originally have been affixed to the back of the doll head at untinted block. Value Points: pristine unplayed with condition, the doll wears her store original ivory patterned silk dress with Alencon lace collar, matching bonnet with deluxe shaping at back of head, undergarments, original muslin chemise, Jumeau knit stockings and black leather shoes signed Paris Bebe 8 with bee symbol; she has her original wig and Jumeau earrings, and flawless bisque.
