14" (36 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with pale complexion and rounded facial modeling, brown sculpted hair drawn away from face into soft curls at back of head and captured by a black headband that tucks behind the sculpted pierced ears, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, delicately painted brows and lashes, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pale accented lips, pierced ears, original kid stitch-jointed body with sewn on black leather boots, lovely antique costume. Condition: large piece broken but neatly and securely reglued at top of head. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful child with entrancing delicate bisque, rare coiffure, brilliant cobalt eyes.
