11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, sculpted white baby bonnet with painted garlands of roses, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, composition baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7975 (Heubach sunburst mark) 3 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: rare glass-eyed variation of the beloved model known as "Baby Stuart" has very fine modeling and painting, original body and body finish. Private collection Merle Glickman.
