A large card stock box with pretty paper covering and lithograph of young child on the lid, contains three large compartments inside, one with bisque headed doll having blue glass eyes, painted features, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, and the other two contains a number of beautifully hand-sewn costumes for that doll. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany 390 A 4 /0 M. Comments: circa 1900. Value Points: the doll wears embroidered dress with wide Bertha collar, undergarments and original shoes (the name "Jean" lettered on one),and owns an embroidered pinafore, white cotton night shift, flowered smock, chemise, slip, pantalets, and bottle in knit cover, handkerchief, mirror, and little portfolio with images.
