17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 122 36. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque with lustrous patina, original body finish, the doll wears school dress, double-breasted coat, straw bonnet, red stockings, black leather shoes, and carries a wooden violin and a small all-bisque doll with swivel head, brown glass eyes, and black painted stockings.
