19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head with well-defined facial features, brown glass sleep eyes, thickly fringed painted upper lashes on heavily modeled eyelids, one stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, two beaded upper teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique print dress, pinafore, stockings, undergarments, leather saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, from their art character series. Value Points: the very rare model is even rarer in this glass-eyed version, enhanced by very beautiful bisque and well-defined sculpting.
