44" (112 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated oval face, large brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, dark painted lashes and slightly sculpted brows with feathered highlights, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth with outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair, pierced ears, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume, undergarments and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. some touch-up to body. Marks: 1079 S&H Dep 20 (head). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: exceptionally large size is virtually unfound, enhanced by superb sculpting and bisque.
