12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with sculpted military helmet has peak finial and raised eagle design, brown sculpted hair peeks from beneath helmet, brown glass side-glancing googly eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with impish smile, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing khaki soldiers uniform brown leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dep Elite D 1. Comments: Max Handwerck, from his series of "helmet googlies", circa 1916. Value Points: rare googly model with fine detail of sculpting and bisque.
