7" (18 cm.) dolls. 12l. stand. A wooden outdoor stand with table tops, folding canvas awning, pair of wooden display steps, is laden with two woven baskets filled with various paper mache or carved wood fruit such as apples, pears, pomegranates, and such, and a large metal and brass scale. Standing behind the stand is an all-bisque doll with swivel head, brown glass eyes, painted facial features, two upper and one lower teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms, fancily painted orange stockings and black five-lace heeled boots, antique sundress and straw bonnet. Condition: stand and food excellent, bisque doll excellent except one thumb broken, tiny chip at front neck torso and left leg hip. Marks: 887 S 3 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: The fruit stand has the original label of Wilhelm Pohl, toy store, of Vienna, enhancing the value of the appealing scene with rare doll
