Description
4" (10 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with painted facial features, white mohair wig, muslin torso and upper limbs, bisque lower limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 34/0. Comments: Germany, circa 1890, the doll has hanging loop for use as tree ornament or as play doll. Value Points: wearing original tulle costume with wire-framed Normandy coiffe, tassel sash ties, and carrying tiny all-bisque baby wrapped as taufling in blue silk with lace trim.
