15" (38 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head of adult lady with oval face, elongated throat, black sculpted hair with arranged long curls at either side of face, coiled knot at back of head, painted facial features, original green edging, original kid body with paper bands at jointure of wooden lower arms and legs, painted red flat shoes. Condition: very good, typical craquelure, some old retouch. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: fine early doll with rare coiffure.
