Description
15" (38 cm.) l. carriage. 29" overall. Heavy tinplate carriage with green stenciled sides, red spoked wheels with yellow striping, has faux-wood tin seates, and a centering brass and cast iron pumping mechanism. The carriage is attached to a double team of paper mache work horses with attached ornamental yokes, and harness, posed upon a wooden wheeled base. Good condition, pump lamp reattached to brass base, one drivers seat arm reattached, original painted is quite well preserved. Bing, Germany, circa 1900.
