20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, light blonde sculpted hair in elaborate arrangement, three rows of rolled curls at each side of center part, and hair at sides of face drawn back and captured by blue hair band into ringlet curls at the sides and a voluptuous arrangement of curls at the back of head held by two black hair bands, painted blue eyes in deeply set sockets, fully-sculpted pierced ears, brown single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with well-shaped lips, muslin stitch-jointed body, sewn on stockings and boots, porcelain hands, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include ornate coiffure, sculpted ears, beautiful face, original body.
