28" (71 cm.) Bisque shoulder head turned to the right, very plump face with pale complexion, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, dimpled chin, blonde mohair wig, kid body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque forearms with beautifully sculpted hands. Condition: generally excellent, right baby finger broken at knuckle. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1885. Value Points: very beautiful pale bisque with contrasting blue eyes, lovely painting, the doll wears antique rose cotton sateen dress with black velvet banding, matching bonnet, undergarments, knit stockings, black leather shoes.
