6" (15 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth, blonde mohair in inserted tendrils into scalp, original muslin body, poured wax limbs, bare feet. Condition: very good, original finish, nose a tad flattened. Comments: English, circa 1850. Value Points: rare tiny size wax doll in early domed trunk with paper lining, along with a wardrobe of tiny costumes, viz. patterned woolen two piece set with blue cording, white cotton dress, long white gown with embroidery, flannel petticoat, another long gown, silk bonnet, undergarments, blue tablier with feather-stitching.
