Description
6" (15 cm.) An enclosed sedan chair ("Chaise a porteur) has three windows with gracefully curved sides, maroon velvet seat on the silk-lined interior, and is wonderfully painted with enamel scenes of cherubs at play along with garlands of flowers and leaves. Very good condition, some paint wear on door panel. French, circa 1880, a rare size of the desirable accessory.
