Solid domed bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair fleecy hair, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume of richly embroidered cutwork dress, straw bonnet, undergarments, black stockings, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 137 6. Comments: mystery maker, circa 1885, a companion model from the mystery 130 series that also includes lot #221 in this book. Value Points: beautiful doll, designed to capture the French market, has most endearing expression and quality of bisque.
