15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head depicting older gentleman with sculpted and painted definition of age wrinkles and dimples, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, sculpted grey brows, prominent nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with wide smile, jutting chin, large ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 5. Comments: Dressel, circa 1892. Value Points: very fine sculpting and painting with highly defined unique features, wearing antique gentleman's suit, cap, and with spectacles and pipe.
